Cambridge Attractions
Cambridge is the perfect short break destination. One weekend is not enough to see and enjoy all that Cambridge has to offer.
Market Square Heart of the City
Situated in the centre of Cambridge Market Square is packed full of stalls 7 days a week. The market which has been the focal point of life in Cambridge for hundreds of years is a popular tourist attraction in its own right and an excellent starting point from which to explore the city centre.
Enjoy panoramic views of Cambridge from Castle Hill
Head towards Castle Street and then head upwards to the top of Castle Hill from where you can enjoy stunning views of beautiful Cambridge.
Punting the River Cam
You simply have to take a punt of the River when you visit Cambridge. On a warm summers day there is nothing more relaxing and English than a punt of the River Cam. If you have never tried it is really very easy you simply use your pole to propel you along and to guide you in the right direction but dont worry if youre not very confident there are plenty of punters (similar to taxi drivers) who for a reasonable fee will take you for a punt.
Kings College Cambridge
Kings College Cambridge on the banks of the River Cam is perhaps the most popular tourist attraction in Cambridge. The stunning architecture and picture perfect gardens make Kings College the ideal place to take a romantic stroll.
Ely Cathedral
Ely Cathedral is not actually located in Cambridge but such is the beauty of the building and the surrounding countryside that you really have to add a visit to Ely Cathedral to your list of things to see and do.
